At the Foot of the Throne

In a despondent mind frame, I entered the throne room of heaven, and asked to sit at his feet. Worn, heavy heart, no words for prayer. Just me and all my brokenness.

After a while, he said “There are others here. Many have lost someone.”

I thought, I am out of place, being with those that are mourning, their loss is much greater than mine. But then I considered that what I was going through was enough to drive me to this sacred place. It was in this place that I found strength to go on another day. God is good.

I am grateful that I didn’t have to lose someone to find this place. Wouldn’t it be better to come sooner? What if we took our brokenness into His throne room, and sat at his feet? Then take out our baggage, all the hurts, hang ups, bitterness, and every secret sin. Then consider each one, and place it on his altar to be sacrificed. Showing him each piece and talking about it with him. Then asking him to take and heal each piece.

As we pour out what is in our hearts, he is able to begin to wash and heal, restore and make new, build and establish. This is the making of you.

FROM THIS POINT, where GOD has cleaned and prepared the foundation of ME, he can begin to build HIS design. This is where HIS BEST can be opened, and where we can become who he intends us to be.
